The PZL W-3A Sokol helicopter is a Cat.A medium twin engine helicopter of 6,400kg Maximum Take-Off Weight capable to carry up to 12 passengers and 2 pilots.

The PZL W-3A Sokol has proven its outstanding capabilities as a very effective and reliable helicopter that is able to successfully perform day and night operations, in any weather conditions, in any climate conditions. The helicopter is equipped with two engines of 900 hp take-off power each and disposes of sufficient power reserve to continue the flight with one engine inoperative.

The PZL W-3A has undergone many customer-driven modifications and enhancements enabling the design to now be successfully adapted to the wide range of the roles it is called upon to fulfill. Such roles include Search and Rescue, both on land and on water, Medical, Passenger and Cargo Transport, Firefighting, Law Enforcement, Border Guard and even Combat Support functions. This flexibility will be of great benefit should the PZL W-3A Sokol helicopter ever be required by the customer to assist any of these civilian services for humanitarian reasons.

The PZL W-3A Sokol helicopter is currently in active service with the customers in Poland and abroad. PZL-Świdnik SA as an authorized manufacturer in terms of the design, production, maintenance and training offers a full customer support service to any customer.
