STRUCTURAL DESIGN, STATIC AND FATIGUE TESTS

SW-4 "SOLO"  RUAS/OPH

PZL-Świdnik is the centre of excellence in manufacturing aerostructures for the majority of AW’s products (over 1700 aerostructures produced so far). The Company has been responsible for the AW139 fuselage design and production (nearly 800 AW139s sold worldwide, with over 500 fuselages produced in Świdnik).

Comprehensive capability for design, static and fatigue tests of rotorcrafts’ aerostructures and dynamic parts, supporting all Leonardo Helicopters programmes (e.g. certification of AW149, AW109  Trekker Landing Gear, AW609 TiltRotor)  - the only facility of this kind in Poland. Participation in research programmes, such as: CleanSky, INNOLOT.

The SW-4 Solo RUAS/OPH, the result of a close collaboration between PZL-Świdnik and AgustaWestland has been designed for both unmanned and piloted operations. Within „HELIMARIS” programm PZL-Świdnik is working to increase maritime capability of optionally piloted helicopter as a platform for the maritime tasks.
