The Management Board of the PZL-Swidnik, an AgustaWestland Company, met on February the 2nd, businessmen from Eastern Association of Machining Treatment Companies and strongly invited them to produce for the company on subcontract and/or partnership basis parts and components for helicopters. The company assured, that they are interested also in cooperation with small companies, and „Green“ approach will be appreciated. PZL-Swidnik plans to double the external workload this year. It may support, in management opinion, the reaching of production plans in the time of increased order for new helicopters. What is also important, this cooperation will give many workplaces in region.
- Currently, in the aviation sector, there is a tendency to outsource certain amount of production to external suppliers. The idea of AgustaWestland and PZL-Swidnik is to use for this process companies from our region. Cooperation with the helicopter production means many benefits not only for the Company, but for entire voivodship. As we need you, I believe, that you also need us – Nicola Bianco, managing director PZL – Swidnik, was convincing.
Management of the Company was praising local suppliers for the quality and on-time production. Also they expect, that regional suppliers will quickly adopt to the international aviation corporation standards. – Thanks to the cooperation with the biggest producer of helicopters in our country, Lubelskie’s companies will not only have chance for the economic growth, but also will grant an access to the global technology and latest know-how – said Eugeniusz Suski, the coordinator of Eastern Association of Machining Treatment Companies.
