PZL-Świdnik SA, an AgustaWestland company, is pleased to announce it has performed an official presentation of AW149 military helicopter at its plant within the framework of the demonstration tour which has recently also seen the aircraft visiting and exhibiting in Dęblin and Warsaw. Representatives of local authorities, business and scientific communities of Lubelszczyzna, parliament members, and students were allowed to see the all new AW149 multi-purpose military helicopter.

PZL-Świdnik SA, an AgustaWestland company, is pleased to announce the new generation AW149 military helicopter’s outstanding capabilities have officially been presented to a number of national and local dignitaries at Warsaw-Babice Airport. The two-day long demonstrations of the latest generation multi-purpose AW149 helicopter over Warsaw is part of an initial tour of this state-of-the-art aircraft in Poland aimed at showing its outstanding characteristics as the best Polish solution to meet the national Armed Forces requirements. Demonstrations were initially performed at the Dęblin Airbase few days before. 

PZL-Świdnik SA, an AgustaWestland company, is pleased to announce that the AW149, the sole new-generation multipurpose military helicopter in its category designed with the significant contribution of PZL-Świdnik Engineering Department, was presented to aviation specialists during a technical conference dedicated to a range of rescue applications. The event, held at the Polish Air Force Academy in Dęblin, marks the beginning of an AW149 demonstration tour in Poland aimed at showing its outstanding capabilities as the best solution to meet the Polish Armed Forces requirements.

Presentations of the capabilities of helicopters produced in Swidnik, visiting the facility, meeting with employees – were just some of activities during the official visit of His Excellency Riccardo Guariglia, Italian Ambassador to PZL-Świdnik, an AgustaWestland company.

PZL–Świdnik SA, an AgustaWestland company, is pleased to announce that the first four Sokol helicopters for the Philippine Air Force were officially handed over to Voltaire Tuvera Gazmin, Secretary of National Defense, by Mieczysław Majewski, President of PZL-Świdnik, during a ceremony held today at Clark Air Base 40 miles northwest of Manila. The aircraft will now enter operational service with the Air Force performing troop transport and a range of utility duties.

An agreement was signed on February 7, 2012 between PLL and PZL-Świdnik, an AgustaWestland company, that will provide a connecting taxiway between the new Lublin Airport that is under construction and the PZL-Świdnik factory. Construction of Lublin Airport is scheduled to be completed late 2012.
